We have become aware of a scam circulating that appears as if SFSD Child Nutrition Coordinator Gay Anderson is asking people to go out and purchase large dollar amounts of gift cards. Gay has NOT sent out a text or an email. Her communication devices appear to have been hacked. Please delete any communication and do not follow through with the request. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Message from SF Neighborhood Soccer:
We have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday due to frigid temps and wind. DASC will also be cancelling, and Parks and Rec had expressed that it will be too cold to have the water for the drinking fountains on, etc. We are very bummed that mother nature didn't cooperate for week 1, but the following week looks much better!
Congratulations to Mrs. Radway and Mrs. Bucknell for receiving Public School Proud grants! Thanks to their efforts, the kiddos at Lowell will enjoy engaging books and sensory room materials!

First grade had a blast going to the Brookings Children's Museum!

The stats are troubling-47% of SFSD students qualify for free/reduced lunches. Their family's income is not enough to make ends meet. That makes it difficult to support school fundraisers. Operation Hope & Caring helps! Get your tickets to the SF STORM game to support schools!

Does your child have conflict resolution skills to solve everyday problems? Join us Tues, April 18 at 6pm to hear from SFSD & Avera Behavioral Health in this month's Family Forum Series segment. Watch for the link in your email. It's practical advice to strengthen families.

With the nice weather last week, K01 earned a chalk party! Look at those smiles! 😁

301 was proud to share all they learned about animals! What creative final presentations!

Well done, 2nd graders and Mrs. Tiedeman! The Pajama Party concert was a hit!! 🎶
