Before the Holiday Break, all 7th grade students participated in a Science lab. These pictures show students identifying reactants and products of an Acid-Base Neutralization Reaction. They wrote down their observations and compared those to their hypotheses. They used the same reaction to create a rocket engine the following day and launched it! It's fun to see all 3 teams sharing and learning together!
Congratulations to everyone who auditioned and to the 8 Patrick Henry band students who were selected to the Middle School All-State Jazz Band! Patrick Henry had more students qualify than any other school in the state! We are proud of everyone's hard work and dedication!

Ms. Dirksen's Reading Development students worked hard to achieve their reading goals before the Holiday Break! Since everyone made great gains on their MAP Reading test, they earned a celebration! Students created their very own gingerbread houses and had fun using their imagination!

Team 6-3 was amazed with the success of their Giving Group Fundraiser last week! The Group raised over $1,500.00 by selling treats before school! Students in the Giving Group counted the funds and shopped online to purchase gifts for The Foster Network Christmas wishlists. It feels good to give -Thank you Patrick Henry!
