December Focus - Leader in Me - Habit 4 - Think Win-Win "I win, you win, everyone wins!" - This encourages and provides students skills on how to work well with others. When we think win-win we are generally happier, experience less conflict, and better able to meet challenges when they arise. Things to consider: 1. Encourage balance between getting what we want and considering others and how they might feel or how it might impact them. 2. Consider all possible solutions when there is a conflict that needs to be solved. 3. Cooperate with others instead of always competing with them. "Think Win-Win is a frame of mind and heart that seeks mutual benefit and mutual respect. It's not thinking selfishly (win-lose) or like a victim. It is a 'we, not me' approach." - Stephen R. Covey
